Introducing Athelas - PRA's New Billing Software

Dear Valued Patient,

Greetings from Professional Rehab Associates. Our ongoing dedication to your health and well-being includes maintaining clear communication about any changes that may impact your interaction with us.

We are excited to announce that we are upgrading our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) system to a new platform called Athelas Insights. This enhancement is part of our ongoing efforts to streamline our administrative processes and improve your experience with us.

What does this mean for you?

As of Thursday, November 14th, 2024, we will start using the Athelas Insights system for billing. You may notice some changes as a result:

1. Patient Statements: The design of your patient statement will change. Our new system generates a different layout, but you will always see our logo and name. The phrase 'Powered by Athelas' will also appear in the statement, but this is still from us.

2. Online Payments: If you pay your bills online, you will now be directed to a new secure payment portal. We will provide the link to this portal in your statement and via a text message sent from +1 (833) 946-2331. An example of a text message from us would look like:

   "Hi [Your Name], You have a payment request from Professional Rehab Associates. Please click the link below to view payment options through Athelas Insights SmartPay: https://r.athelas.com/test/
   If you do not want to receive further text messages from us reply OPTOUT"

3. Email Communication: Your billing statements will be emailed from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please add this email to your trusted contacts to ensure receipt of all statements.

4. Payment History: Please note that any outstanding balance from before the 11/14/24 date will still be due and will be presented in a separate statement from your new charges from our previous system.

Please rest assured that these changes are aimed at enhancing our services and making the billing process more transparent and straightforward for you. Our team has been trained and is ready to help you navigate these changes.
