Professional Rehab Associates, Inc. has become an official sponsor and participant for Hope to Walk’s Virtual 5K event on October 1 and 2, 2022. We couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity to help bring hope to those who need it.
As a local, family-owned physical therapy and rehab facility in Radford, Virginia, we have built our business around wellness, prevention and rehabilitation. When we were presented with the opportunity to be a sponsor for Hope to Walk, we were more than excited. Organizations like this one give us a chance to take our slogan to the next level.
About the 5K Event
On October 1 and 2, Hope to Walk is hosting its annual Virtual 5K event. This event is a way to raise awareness and funds for the 35 million amputees around the world who do not have access to prosthetic devices. By being virtual, the event was opened to people across the globe, no matter their location.
So, what do you need to do as a participant? Well, it’s easy to get involved! Just follow the simple steps below:
- Visit our team page to register as a participant (don’t worry, it’s free!)
- Help spread the news on Facebook and even raise your own funds.
- Plan your journey. You can walk, run, bike, or even do an indoor gym 5K by using the treadmill or elliptical.
- Take a photo and share your progress on social media with the hashtags #htwvirtual5K and #wewalksotheycan. Make sure you tag Professional Rehab Associates in your post so we can celebrate with you.

About Hope to Walk
Hope to Walk is a nonprofit organization with the mission to offer prosthetic legs and hope to a world in need. Their vision is to ensure all amputees can access the ability to walk. They work to achieve this goal by designing low-cost prosthetic legs and developing prosthetic training programs to train international communities to help themselves.
