Professional Rehab Associates offers a professional-grade wellness program that includes full access and membership to our fully equipped gym and pool. We are conveniently located near Radford, VA, Radford University, and Virginia Tech. Membership is available for residents of Radford, Riner, and throughout our entire southern Virginia service area. Each member is provided with personalized training and exercise sessions designed to target individual needs and specific weaknesses. Whether your goal is weight-loss, injury prevention, or improvement of overall body fitness, our physical therapists are here to assist you. A Non-Intimidating Gym With Private Consultations Open to the Public
Our wellness center is open to our patients who have completed our outpatient physical therapy program, as well as all community members in the public. Unlike recreation centers and gyms, PRA offers targeted attention, direct supervision, and individualized programs to help you reach your goals in an efficient manner. Private consultations are available, as well as personal training.
Individuals under the age of 18 must submit a parental release form. Professional Rehab Associates strictly maintains a non-intimidating and comfortable atmosphere. Our PREVENT Program is a yearly program that includes a personalized wellness assessment, communication with your physician for review and input, full gym and pool access, as well as professional training and support. Comprehensive Wellness Program

Your comprehensive initial wellness program assessment is performed by a licensed physical therapist and includes an exercise prescription individualized for your health, sport, and activity history. Your safety, goals, and interests are also taken into consideration.

The PREVENT Program is multi-faceted and provides customized exercise prescriptions that take your age/maturity, activity level, and personal fitness goals into consideration. Physical therapy recommendations are medically based and involve direct communication and partnership with your physician and/or coach. Reports are provided to determine whether you are doing well, require intensive physical therapy, or any degree in between.

Our physical therapists work to help our athletes achieve optimal competitive levels through education and therapy to promote self-motivation. All of our PREVENT Program participants are provided with reports to track improvements over time and from year-to-year. You are encouraged to beat your score with a personalized Action Plan, as appropriate. We strive to motivate each patient to reach his or her activity level goals with evidence-based medical treatment. PRA accepts self-referral and direct access, as well as referrals from physicians, coaches, and other medical professionals.

Our Wellness Center Gym & Pool Membership Program
If you are interested in learning more about how you can benefit from our wellness center and gain membership to use our gym and pool facilities, simply call our office to join at (540) 639-5786. We will schedule an appointment for you to come in for your wellness assessment with one of our friendly and courteous physical therapists. After an assessment is completed, we will discuss our findings with your primary care physician and design your personalized wellness program.
