What is your primary clinical interest/passion?

I love working with people! My strongest clinical interest would be sensory processing disorders- especially in children. I have observed that this area of need is often missed or misunderstood by other disciplines. When working with children who exhibit sensory processing disorders, i find that as their sensory needs are correctly addressed, then they are able to focus on play and learning with greater freedom and peace.

What do you enjoy about Professional Rehab Associates?

I enjoy the freedom and support to proceed with OT as best fits the client. I am glad to be working in a family-owned company that supports the employees, clients, and their families in a personal, truly caring way.

What experience do you have? (i.e., years, training, focus, certification)

I have been an OT for 43 years with experience in school-based OT, home health, and acute and long-term care. Though the most experience is working with pediatrics in the school setting.

What are your hobbies and outside interests?

I enjoy time with my family, grandchildren, and church friends. I like to ride my bike, listen to historical fiction audio books, paint, sew, and knit. I love to travel and explore new places.
